More Thoughts

 I feel like my last post lacked something and I couldn't sleep well last night thinking that the last blog left more questions than it gave answers. I admit I am a bit different than most labeled people. I am sure that someone somewhere would be able to label me proper and all. But for now, I just want to explain a bit more. Ya'll know that GOD is not the author of confusion. And I believe it was GOD who brought me in here today to finish what I started. 

I was raised Southern Baptist and Methodist.  I have gone to many different labeled churches. But The SB and the Methodist was a mainstay for me. My maternal Grandparents were Methodist, but my sister and I would go to neighborhood SB churches for Sunday school, which taught me the fundamentals of GOD. My paternal Grandmother was Catholic. I didn't see her much and she didn't go to Church much as she became a widow when I was 6 and she had 8 kids. But she was a good person. Most Catholics are good people, even though you can find bad apples in any bunch. I still believe that most Christians are good people. And the bad ones are turned bad by emulating bad leaders who are in it for the easy money by putting on a show, but you will know them by their actions. If they are angry and judgmental and condemn you and kick you out of the church on a whim of sin, when they themselves are sinning by not following the real GOD, you'll want to find a different church.

When I was in my late 20's and early 30's I would go with my maternal grandmother to her church and teach at vacation bible school. lol... Yes, I was a vacation Bible school teacher, thanks to the wonderful ladies in the Methodist church who believed in me. This is my roots. 

With GOD it's not people who teach you, they are just setting an example, its GOD within you who leads and guides you by the Holy Ghost, 24/7... You never have to worry about finding someone to explain things to you because GOD reveals to you by the SPIRIT truth and wisdom and all things right and good. If it seems GOD is not talking to you, give it a minute and you will hear HIM. Sometimes it takes more time because you don't know what to expect and you second guess everything. It will pass and you'll get there.

We are living in a world where Satan has had thousands of years to confuse and distort our thinking. But I know truth, and by GOD, I will speak it. There are some people who want to shut me up, but like others in the SPIRIT, we are doing a 'Jesus movement thing' and we are standing up against the evil in the world, I mean if we don't... who will?

Now the demons they love picking on you. And who are demons? They are evil souls who seek to destroy and kill all that is good and right by GOD. And it is up to US to choose whom we serve. 

Now, I don't belong to any church anymore as I can watch men of GOD on tv these days. But I don't care about labels anyway. I am always happy to find people preaching about Jesus and what his message was, regardless of any labels. I believe the devil hides behind labels and fools a lot of people. But if we are diligent and know GOD, we can call them out so maybe, just maybe they can be saved from their own selves. Sometimes I don't think they even know they are doing it wrong. 

I was raised up with the King James Bible, but I have read other bibles also. My favorite Bible is the Hebrew/Greek Study Bible. I got some great information there! It changed the way I saw things. And GOD wasn't such a mystery to me anymore when I realized that GOD wasn't about magic or trickery. My mind was open to a whole new thing! And that was when GOD revealed to me that things are not always what they seem. And GOD wrote HIS word in a way to confound the wise and prudent. That was what they called people in charge who didn't have the true spirit of GOD. Most of them learned the way of Jesus and found the true spirit of GOD but there were still those who were in charge who wanted to remain in charge for the control of men. A whole issue that we still have today. The arrogance and greed of power and wealth. Which will one day cause them to step down or they will die, and the new heavens and the new earth will not suffer such fools.

I just want to share a couple examples here, I've written about this before, but I feel the need to also put it here. For one, thinking about Lot's wife, 'turning into a pillar of salt'... I don't believe she magically transformed into a statue of salt. I believe where she was standing when she turned around... a huge, gigantic pillar of salt came crashing down on her and where she was standing, she was standing no more, but squashed like a bug under that piece of giant earth.

And my favorite one here is Jesus turning water into wine. I don't believe the water magically turned into wine, but that Jesus had a great connection with the wine man, and when he saw that the wedding party was so poor, they couldn't afford wine for the celebration, Jesus sent a couple or a few of his disciples to his friend, the wine man and they told him Jesus had sent them to see about getting some wine for the wedding party. The wine man LOVED Jesus and was more than happy to help out! And so, the disciples secretly carried in the wine and changed the water one vessel at a time and to the party it was a miracle... not magic... just a miracle that Jesus was there and was able to do it! He didn't seek to be known about it, but you know how people talk and it just got out that it was changed, not how it was changed. It was just changed! What a great day it must have been for the bride and groom!

So, you see it was humans helping humans with a GODLY SPIRIT of caring and actually doing something to help others. I heard it said, GOD can't do anything without HIS PEOPLE, we are HIS hands and feet and voice! Because GOD is a SPIRIT of goodness that lives in the hearts and minds of HIS PEOPLE and causes them to help others, sometimes... most times it's in secret. 

The one thing I told GOD that I did not want to do is change the mystery and intrigue that IS GOD. I mean you can agree that Jesus changed the water into wine, we don't know how it happened, but it happened. Just because I am saying it involved PEOPLE and not magic doesn't deny the fact that it happened. I just feel like GOD clarified it for me when I asked.

I feel like a big reason people turned from GOD was because they just didn't understand it all. But maybe we are not meant to understand it all. There are some things we won't know until we are with GOD. 

Now, one more time for those who need to hear... GOD IS the culmination of all the saints and sinners that have ever been born and had the breath of life created knowledge and died. Like I have a long line of past family who are with GOD now and when I pass on, I will be able to be with them and understand all things.

In the words of Bennie Benjamin, Horace Ott and Sol Marcus...  

"I'm just a soul whose intentions are good, Oh Lord please don't let me be misunderstood!"

The 2nd Coming Of Jesus

     I Thank GOD to get me in here. It's been a stressful time, but the Lord is with me, so I am good! I feel like even tho' the struggle is real, I am really getting though the struggle with the help of GOD. I am grateful because I know that every day, I am getting closer and closer to seeing Jesus. However, I see a different version than the one that is so popular.

I have realized the last few months, what I had thought was true years ago.

I am just older now and think more deep thoughts. 

Here is an odd fact.

For me, thinking about religions, it wouldn't matter what label you have, I could fit in. Well except those who do not teach about Jesus, and in that case, they are not really the link to GOD. 

That is, not the real GOD.

Now there are many religions in the world, which I believe are always smart people laying down rules for a certain society. There's lots and lots of them. And this is OK, if that's enough for you. Some even teach the dark side of things. And may be ok for older folks, but for real the best thing to teach our children is about Jesus because Jesus is the only one who points us to the Spirit Of GOD.

You can't trust everyone with your heart, but you can sure trust Jesus!

Because the GOD of Jesus is the Living GOD who dwells in the hearts and minds of HIS PEOPLE. GOD is what motivates us to do good things in our life and sometimes we are somebodies angel. You see GOD is not a deity who lives only in the Temple or Church, remember HE used to, in the Old Testament, but GOD saw that men were not so good on the inside. Yeah, they were really good about taking a sacrifice to the Temple and letting go of a goat or bird or sheep or whatever they brought for a sacrifice, but inside their souls some were evil and wicked. 

GOD don't play like that no more.

This is why GOD had to find a way into the hearts and minds of the PEOPLE.

Jesus is the way! As Jesus was the final sacrifice for sin. This is why if your still sacrificing people or animals for sin, you're doing it wrong. Step back and take a look!

The way that we know GOD, is to have HIM inside our hearts and minds and HE gets there when we know, that the body of Jesus was sacrificed in our place. We accept the fact that he paid for our sins, so we honor Him with our lives. We sacrifice our time and energy to do the things that GOD shows us we need to do. That usually entails doing a good deed here and there when we see that we need to do it and we see that we can do it! 

Some people choose not to think about Jesus. And that is a choice, but I guarantee in the end, you will discover that it is the ways of Jesus that matter the most in this world.

You see in this world there is both good and evil. Evil is not good and good is not evil (even though some people will tell you different). There is a difference. I've seen a lot of evil in my day, so I hang onto the good. If you can't understand that one day you will learn the hard way.

Through Jesus we learn to love others, and to help other people out. 

GOD speaks against selfishness and arrogance and lust and greed.

GOD teaches us to do better, in doing this, we become better humans one to another. 

Now this is where I believe the second coming of Jesus will be, when we all act like Jesus! Can you imagine a world where all the people act like Jesus? This is when Jesus will overcome the evil, when we all start emulating him! We overcome evil with good!

Ever since I was young, Jesus coming out of the sky just didn't set right. I believe that for us to see him do that, others won't see it on the other side of the earth, sort of limits the physical body, but hey now, if we're talking about the SPIRIT in the sky, now that makes way more sense.

GOD has allowed me to see glimpses, where everyone is treating everyone else kindly. Where there is no more corruption in our politics because our politicians will be filled with the SPIRIT of Jesus who would NEVER even dream of deceiving the PEOPLE. A place where if people see a rape happening, they don't pull out their cell phones and start recording, they all jump the rapist and hold them until the police come! You would never have to worry about driving down the road and suddenly get shot by someone pulling off a gang initiation. A place where you never see homeless people because the ones in charge always find a place for everyone. And can you imagine the extra money we will have because people stop being so greedy that they screw others over for their selfish desires... oh no... there won't be any of that crap anymore. For the most part Jesus, through US will contain the evil and it won't be so common as it was in the past. I mean the past which is now. 

Oh yes, I can see it now... not so much of a different world, as much as different people. And these Jesus type people will always know what the right thing to do is. And no one is hungry, and no one is on drugs trying to escape their reality. It's a place where everyone lives a good life and, in the end, when they see Jesus coming for their souls, they... we... will leap for joy to cross over to the other shore.

I feel like I could go on all day describing what I see in this new world where people's only priority is other people, a place where we all help to take care of each other through rain or shine. 

When Jesus comes again to dwell with the PEOPLE, what a time it will be!
